Calypso Fiesta 2025 Finalists Set to Ignite Dimanche Gras Stage

The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO) has officially announced the eleven finalists for the 2025 National Calypso Monarch Competition. These talented artists are set to compete against the reigning monarch, Machel Montano, at the highly anticipated Dimanche Gras event on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.

  6. Karene "The Calypso Princess" Asche – A Leader

  7. Kurt Allen "The Last Bardjohn Of Calypso" – Your Turn Now

  8. Roderick "Chuck Gordon" Gordon – Look Tuh Press

  9. Roslyn Reid Hayes – Sing It In Kaiso

  10. Samraj "Rikki Jai" Jaimungal – Kaiso Chutney

  11. Terri Lyons – Ask Yuh Man

These finalists were selected after delivering outstanding performances at the Calypso Fiesta semi-finals held at Skinner Park, San Fernando. The upcoming Dimanche Gras promises a fierce competition as these calypsonians bring their best to the stage, aiming to captivate both judges and audiences alike.
